(1) Conducts site surveys as necessary; coordinates with the customer, and researches all related specifications and job requirements to insure that proposals or customers agreements can be accurately prepared. (2) Prepares sales quotations, proposals or sales agreements to be submitted, upon approval of the Sales and Marketing Manager, to the customer for acceptance. (3) Offers maintenance agreement with each sales proposal for new clients or existing clients without existing maintenance agreements in place. (4) Upon acceptance by the customer, prepares Sale/Work Order, coordinates with Operations Manager on job schedule, floor plans and job description, and materials required. (5) Creates or edits existing client profile to include key sales information such as; Billing and shipping addresses, phone #'s, system connectivity information and documentation methods, and other pertinent contacts. (6) Orientates Project manager in all aspects of each job and system. (7) Coordinates and manages additional sales opportunities or changes in scope or sales agreements with Project Manger as required. (8) Upon Sales/Work Order completion,reviews completed Sales/Work Orders and documentation, prepares invoicing immediately after job completion and submits invoicing and documentation to the Sales and Marketing Manager for review and approval and updates client profile. (9) Follows up with customer in insure satisfaction, receipt and understanding of invoicing and offer of help on future needs. (10) Takes advantage of opportunities to promote future sales with customers and other persons with whom contact may be made and provides feedback to the Sales and Marketing manager, as appropriate.
(1) Takes MAC request directly by phone call from client, researchers all related specifications and job requirements to insure that Sales/Work Order can be accurately prepared. (1) Upon assignment of task by Operations Manager, other Operational Managers or other Sales and marketing personnel, executes it or trains the requesting person to execute it as directed by the Operations Manager. (2) Assists and trains the Project Managers and the Service Manager with any CAD, Plan production work, or drawing work which may need to be done as part of the documentation for Sales/Work order completion on a timely basis. (3) Assists all company Managers with any drawing work or special computer work as needed and directed by the Operations Manager and General Manager. (4) Assists the General manager with the MIS functions of the company. (5) Performs duties as a crew chief as required (6) Takes advantage of opportunities to promote future sales with customers and other persons with whom contact may be made and provide feedback to Sales and Marketing and Operations Manager as appropriate.
(1) Trains and supervises Installation Manager, Project Managers, Service Manager. Operations support, and Production Manager in all operational aspects of their duties including, project management, purchasing, job coordination with customer and crews, and documentation. (2) Insures that the job log and tracking of all projects are done properly so that all paperwork for all projects is completed on a timely basis and are either completed by 5 days after close of month, or work in process reports are completed for incomplete projects by same date. (3) Assist the Sales and Marketing Manager, Service manager, and Production Manager in maintaining the supplier relationships, materials purchasing, price negotiations, and maintaining inventory levels. (4) Performs duties of , service management, purchasing,project management, and installation management as required. (5) Takes personal responsibility for insuring that each operational manager within the company is being trained ans is instilling in others the philosophies in which Data Connection was founded and developed.
(1) In coordination with the Installation Manager, Project managers, and the Operations Manager, maintains work calendar and inputs daily Time and Materials Reports. Included in coordinating with all installation personnel, all operations personnel, Sales and Marketing, and clients as necessary to insure smooth coordination of all Sales/Work Orders, parts pickups, and service work. (2) Upon receipt of order from sales and marketing for an existing client MAC service or project, coordinates with installation Manager and Sales Marketing on job schedule, crew assignment, equipment schedule, and materials required. (3) Upon crew assignment prepares work package to include; work order copies of plans and engineering documents, and reviews project with the selected crew chief. (4) Prepares purchase requisition for equipment and materials for review by the Operations Manager. (5) Upon project completion and during process of existing client service work, insures that all necessary paper work is completed by the crew chief in order that invoicing and file documentation can be completed. included is any necessary coordination with sales and marketing on any opportunities for additional work or changes in specified work throughout the project. (6) Immediately after project completion, reviews and completes work order and documentation information and submits to the Operations Manager for review and approval. Included is coordinating with Operations Support for any CAD, plan production work, or drawing work which may need to be done as part of the documentation. (1) Trains the Data Connection Philosophy and standards of excellence to all installation personnel and others. (2) Trains Crew Chiefs and other installation personnel in all aspects of cable production and installation to achieve a high standard of quality, efficiency, and customer service. (3) Plans and maintains the vehicle fleet and equipment to insure responsive customer service and efficient use of company assets. Coordinates requirements with Operations Manager. (4) Coordinates with Operations Manager and Service Manager on crew assignement and workflow. (5) Participates in special projects and problem solving as required. (6) Coordinates with Operations Manager on installation personnel promotions and other aspects of personnel development.
(1) Installs cables and equipment to conform to customer specifications. (2) Checks and tests cable installation to insure that it meets specifications and performs as required. (3) Completes necessary labeling to insure ease of trouble-shooting and future modification, if necessary . (4) Maintains control of tools and materials to insure maximum utilization, efficiency and safety. (5) At the end of each work day, removes all equipment and tools from the truck and throughly cleans up the truck in insure its readiness for the next day. (6) Performs other related duties as directed by the Crew Chief and Installation Manager, including shop maintenance. (7) Maintains high standards of appearance, courtesy and professionalism in all aspects of customer and supplier contacts as a representative of Data Connection. (8) Completes Time and Materials Reports for review by Crew Chief on daily basis. (9) Assumes a personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of service in the industry. (10) Trains to become a Crew Chief.
(1) Reviews complete Package as received from the Project Manager to insure preparedness in the following specific areas: (a) Job requirements and specifications. (b) Possession of appropriate materials and tools. (c) Customer identification, job location and appointments. (2) Coordinates any customer initiated job revisions with responsible Project Manager. (3) Installs cables and equipment to conform to the specifications. (4) Checks and tests cable and equipment installation to insure that installation meets specifications and performs as required. (5) Completes necessary labeling and documentation updates(as well as on-site documentation) as specified on site documentation. (6) Surveys job site to insure job completion,site cleanliness and removal of all unused parts,tools and equipment. (7) Completes work order showing updated or new description of work and actual parts, labor and equipment used to permit appropriate cost analysis and invoicing. This is to be accomplished immediately upon completion of the job. (8) Trains and supervises installer assigned in all aspects of installation duties. (9) Completes Time and Materials Reports on self and reviews Time and Materials Reports of installers assigned, on a daily basis and submits to the Service Manager. (10) Insures that each vehicle used is in proper working order and has been properly serviced in accordance with established schedules and procedures. Reports any problems to the Installation Manager. (11) Maintains high standards of appearance, courtesy and professionalism in all aspects of customer and supplier contacts as a representative of Data Connection. (12) Takes advantage of opportunities to promote future sales for Data Connection with customers or other persons with whom contact may be made provides feedback to the Sales and Marketing manager as appropriate. (13) Coordinates with the installation manager in all aspects of equipment, materials and labor needs and any problems and recommended solutions encountered in performance of his duties.
